Within the scope of the activities to be carried out at the CVIP Terminal operated by Istanbul Private Passenger and General Aviation Services Inc. (“Service Provider”) located within Istanbul Airport (“CVIP Terminal”), we attach importance to the protection of our Guests’ information that qualifies as confidential information in accordance with our confidentiality standards. We undertake to keep our Guests’ confidential information confidential and to use such information as required for the provision of the services, not to share or disclose such confidential information with third parties without the consent of our Guests, except where legally required or where necessary due to commercial relationships, to take the necessary measures to protect our Guests’ confidential information and to exercise commercially reasonable care, and to warn and supervise our personnel and third parties to ensure the protection of confidential information and compliance with confidentiality undertakings.
We pay due attention to ensuring that our Guests’ personal data are processed and stored in compliance with the Constitution of the Republic of Türkiye and the international conventions on human rights to which our country is a party, in particular the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“KVKK” or “Law”), the Regulation on the Deletion, Destruction or Anonymization of Personal Data No. 30224 (“Regulation”), and the Notificationn on the Procedures and Principles to Be Followed in Fulfillment of the Obligation to Inform No. 30356 (“Notification”), and that such personal data are deleted, destroyed or anonymized in the event that the conditions for processing are completely eliminated.
All personal data shared by our Guests with our Company may be processed in compliance with the law and principles of good faith, in a manner that is specific, explicit and legitimate, limited and proportionate, and related to our purposes of activity and service, in accordance with the principles set forth under Article 4 of KVKK. In addition, personal data may be processed only if at least one of the legal grounds set forth under Articles 5 and 6 of KVKK exists and may be transferred to third parties only if the conditions set forth under Articles 8 and 9 are satisfied. In this respect, within the framework of the Law and the relevant legislation, we take all necessary technical and administrative measures, by utilizing our technological and infrastructural capabilities, in order to ensure that our Guests’ personal data are securely stored and processed in compliance with the law.
As the data controller, our information notices prepared within the scope of our obligation to inform, which include information regarding the data controller, the purposes of processing personal data, the recipient parties and purposes of transfer, the method and legal basis of collection of personal data, and your rights as a data subject regulated under Article 11 of KVKK, shall be provided to you at the time we obtain your personal data. In cases where we do not obtain your personal data directly from you, we shall fulfill our obligation to inform within a reasonable period; if the personal data are to be used for the purpose of contacting you, at the time of first contact, and if a transfer is to take place, at the latest at the time of the first transfer. As the Service Provider, in order to ensure compliance with the information security objectives and policies we have established and to fulfill the requirements set forth under the ISO 27001 Information Security Management System standard, we have established and are operating an information security management system.
