Founded in 2013, iGA is the infrastructure developer and operator behind Istanbul Airport, delivering one of the largest and most ambitious aviation projects in the world. Located 35 kilometres from the city centre, the airport was designed and built in four phases to support long-term global growth.
Since opening in 2019, Istanbul Airport has welcomed over 421 million passengers and supported more than 2.8 million flights, serving 115+ airlines across an expanding global network. Today, the airport operates with multiple runways and a terminal infrastructure designed for a long-term capacity of up to 200 million passengers annually, positioning Istanbul as a central gateway between continents.
